Introduction #
You can adjust the amount of storage quota each user is allowed in OneDrive for Business.
We recommend you set the amount to the maximum available.
License Requirement #
For most subscription plans, the default storage space for each user’s OneDrive is 1TB. Depending on your plan and the number of licensed users, you can increase this storage up to 5TB. For info, see the OneDrive for Business service description.
User Impact #
Low
Increasing the amount of storage quota will have no detrimental affects for you users. If you decrease the storage quota and a user’s site is over the new quota, their OneDrive will become read-only automatically.

- Sign in to the OneDrive Admin Center as a global or SharePoint admin, and in the left pane, select Storage.
