MSPMagic leverages Azure Active Directory to manage user authentication and authorisation. When you sign up to MSPMagic an Enterprise Application “MSP Magic – Partner Frontend Application” is created which controls access to the MSPMagic application. By default, the Enterprise Application grants permission to all users inside your tenant.
For some organisations, this is acceptable. Others would prefer to limit access to selected users only.
How to restrict MSPMagic access to selected users only #
- Login to the Azure Portal and navigate to Azure Active Directory -> Enterprise Applications.
- Search for “MSP Magic – Partner Frontend Application” and click on it to open the Properties blade.
- Scroll down until you see the “Assignment required?” field and change it to “Yes” to restrict access.
- To grant access to specific users or groups, click on “Users and groups” and assign them to the application.
